1653.0. "Natalie Maloof "Morgan Breeder"" by NQOPS::BUSH () Sun Aug 09 1992 23:16

Anyone out there know Natalie Maloof???? She is GREAT!! I just
met her. My daughter, not quite 5 years old yet, is taking lessons
from her. And I'm riding at her stable, thinking of leasing one
    of her horses.

This Lady, and her husband, are one of the nicest people I've
ever met. She told me that she has a lot of "decies" out there
that ride at her place. Thought I'd write a note and exchange
    comments on the place.

She's showing "Wicked Wild" in West Springfield this coming
week. I'm thinking of going friday after work, stay over
night, and see her show. Anyone else interested?????

    Let me know!!

    Jane...

No, I don't know her. I used to own a Morgan stud that
was a year older than Wicked Wild, so they were at a lot
    	of them same shows together.

1653.4"wicked cute"!DNEAST::BUTTERMAN_HOMon Aug 10 1992 12:4014

i'm embarrassed to say that we were stabled right next
to each other at Maine Morgan... (she keeps Wicked with
Chris at the shows I guess), anyway we were all so busy
that we didn't introduce ourselves... and I could only
stay to watch my horse in hand on the 1st day so I didn't
get to hang around and relax.

but, they seemed like very nice people, and he is very
    	very cute!,...............

What type of Morgan is Wicked Wild? (That is, what's he good at?)

Wicked Wild is sired by Trebles Willy Wild, and he is being
shown as a western pleasure horse... He is not a big horse
but he has a big heart and way of going... and he is very dark
with an exquisite head and tiny ears. His body is deep and
well rounded but he is not "drafty"...

he has sired a couple of babies for Natalie, I believe.

You certainly know Wicked Wild!! You're right, he has sired a
couple of cuties. A black filly, and a chestnut colt. They
are 15 days apart, and adorable!
1653.8Natalie is my instructor!HARDY::JOSEPHSONMon Aug 17 1992 18:4115
I have been taking lesson from Natalie for close to 2 years and I also
lease a horse from her. Natalie is one of the nicest people I've ever
met and she is an excellent instructor.

She take exceptional care of her horses (she's currently stabling
    around 13 or 14!).

Wicked Wild is a beauty....I enjoy watching him in the corral when he
gets this bolt of energy and he just flies through the air.

Natalie is located on Farmer Road in Merrimack, NH.

ever tell you the story about Inky?? Unreal!!
    He's a sweetheart, and a beauty!!

    about INKY....
1653.11Phone Number for this personAIMHI::DANIELSThu Aug 20 1992 13:359
Can anyone put in Natalie's phone number and tell me where Farmer Road
is in Merrimack? I would like to visit her place, but I'm not that
familiar with Merrimack. Is Farmer Road off of Turkey Hill Road?

    Also, does she teach saddleseat?

    Thanks,

1653.12The Story of "INKY"NQOPS::BUSHMon Aug 24 1992 00:4443
Story about Inky is UNREAL!! He is a morgan, black, standing close
to 16 hands. His father is from Alberta, Canada, and his mother
was a Chestnut that had the height. Inky got his beautiful head
from him and his color, and her height. He's absolutely GORGEOUS!!
Natalie saw him, when he was 5 months old, and bought him. (he's
    11 years old, now, b.t.w.)

Anyway, as the story goes.... they got him home, and they thought
he had something, I believe she called ""wobbles"??? He kept falling
down. They tryed everything, and was told he would probably die.
(don't quote me on this, but i think she said when he was two years (?)
old) they finally had thought they should give it up. So Natalie,
being the "lover of horses as she is", decided to transport him
to Pennsylvania to this horse lab, that experiments on horses with
rare deseases, in hopes to find cures for them. They took him out there
thinking never to see him again. Two weeks later...this Lab
CALLED HER!!! They said this horse had had a servere blow to the
head, and with proper training, and a lot to TLC, he'd be golden.
Well, they traveled back to PA, picked him up, and he is the most
loveable and beautiful animal you'd ever seen. Of course, that's
with Natalie Maloof's love and training.

However, he does have a few quarks, as the trainer she sent him
to, mistreated him, as this person has done others. I want to
lease him, but I am learning to ride him, and get to know him
as he does ""spook** easily, and doesn't like some folks. He's
gotten to love me (i think). He did so well for me today, I was
really impressed by his well trained (voice and pressure) commands.

My daughter is riding her 27 year old Palamino, and I am not kidding
when I tell you.... you'd NEVER BELIEVE this horse was that old.
    He's beautiful!!!!

I love Natalie!! She is great. And if any of you are near by to get
good instruction, I recommend her completely!! I've had instruction
before, and look back on it now, and realize what a waste of money
    and time I spent!!

    Inky's mine though!! You can't have him...hahahaha....

Send me mail if anyone would like more detail.

**** Natile is my Teacher also ***

I have been taking lessons from Natile . I started in May she is a very
nice lady. She always makes sure you are comfortable in doing something
before she ask you to do it. I also ride INKY he is the greatest
horse.I am very comfortable with Inky and I also know he likes me. Inky
is Natiles favorite of all her horses, he is her baby, You can tell he
    loves her also.

Before taking lessons with Natile I was afraid of really riding again
as I had had a bad accident many years ago when the horse I was riding
got spoked by cows, I ended up breaking both legs. Through Natiles kind
understanding she has brought me a long long way from the days when I
thought I would never ride again. Because of her kindness, patience and
consistant training with me I am now able to ride comfortablely with my
12 year old horse named mickey.

Both Natile and her husband are very nice people, they treat people
like family, not just a paying customer. I am very comfortable with
them, and have met some very nice people through them that both take
lessons, and also board thier horses there... there is only one place
to take riding lessons as far as I am concerned.... and that's from
Natile... someone who cares for both the horse you ride and the person
you are. I'd say she tailors the lesson to each persons own individual
need. She's the best.... She is my riding teacher yes... but also has
become a very good caring friend.
