    Hi,
    
    I recently moved to Bowie, Maryland from Massachusetts. (Last
    October.) I work at EKO in Landover now. I was both surprised
    and delighted to find out that horseback riding in Maryland
    seems to be much more popular and ubiquitous than in Massachusetts.
    Currently, I am in a horse-leasing program called Equishare at
    Reddemeade Farm, about 10 miles north of Silver Springs. I've
    started Eventing and attending Dressage shows this year.
    
    Are there any Equitation noters out there from this neck of the
    woods? Since I'm new down here, I'm on the lookout for horse-loving
    friends to get to know.

	She's not a noter, as she works not for DEC but for the state of Maryland, but my sister runs a barn in Bel Air. She is also into the local combined training offerings. Send mail if you're interested in looking her up. Kathy

	Susan Baghdadi also rides at Reddemeade. I don't think she's a member of the notesfile, but she works in sales in DCO. She also takes dressage lessons there. Kathy's sister, Linda ( note -1 ) is recommended by me too. We bought a terrific 4H Pony Club horse from her. Welcome to Maryland! John Wood (DCO)

	My coheart, while not a DEC employee, is seriously involved in The Patapsco Valley Riding Assoc ( a local chapter of some national group). In fact, she used to live in Bowie so she probably knows what's available in the area. She's into combined training at the chicken? level as well as trail riding. 	Sorry this note is a little late.. I haven't been in notes for a while. I work in EKO - in Ed Services, and show Quarter Horses at AQHA shows. I've never done dressage, but I am starting my horse in Hunter Hack .. 2'6" is enough for me :^) Give me a call and we can talk horses! -Sherry
