| Does anyone know if those stirrup covers REALLY work?

| We have them and they do work. They keep your toes warm probably
because they are protected from the wind. There is a point (at least
when we lived in NH and it got really cold) when my toes start to
freeze because of pressure on the stirrup and even the covers don't
help then, but this only happens when it's very cold (0-15 degrees - I
never rode when it was below 0!).

| I just received my latest edition of the Chick's Catelog. They
are a large saddle shop in Delaware. I saw the stirrup covers
as I was looking through it. I think I may go ahead and give
them a shot (I know it's summer, but winter sure comes up quick
here in the northeast!). I don't know if they are lined, but they
were priced under 20.00 for those who might be interested.
