Does anyone out there do anything with riding mules?
I have read a little bit about them, and saw some at the Kentucky Horse
Park. I think they would make nice trail animals, especially (from
what I understand) they aren't as flighty as a horse, and also won't
drink or eat while they are hot after riding - so they don't founder or
colic (from that reason at least).
Does anyone sell them in the New England area?

Alot of people do ride mules, and from what I have heard
they make great jumpers, and are also good for Fox hunting.
New England does have Mule Shows. I have a friend who
has just begun breeding them, and she really sings their
praises. I know she's involved with the New England Association
for Mules. I can give you her number if you'd like, just
send me some mail.
