	I was wondering if any of my fellow horse noters might know of any fair
to good horse show facilities in Ma. other than the 3 County Fair Grounds in
Northampton and Eastern States Expo in W. Springfield that could be rented for
a 2 to 3 day horse show. I belong to the North Atlantic Buckskin Assoc., and 
show on the Buckskin/Qtr. Horse circuit in New England. Our group in the past 
has  put on one show during the year, usually in New Hampshire or Vermont.
Next year we would like to put on at least two, possibly three shows with one of
those shows in Ma. The facility would need stalls, (approx. 25-30) for overnight
stabling, and a show ring that has good footing and railings. An indoor arena
is not necessary but if available would be a nice extra. Camper hook-ups would
be nice also, but not required as we can "rough it". 
	Just to give you an idea of the type of facilities we have had shows are
the Skowhegan Fairgrounds, Skowhegan Me.; Falls Creek Farm, Oneco, Ct.; Coble-
skill Fairgrounds, Cobleskill, NY; 4-H Facility, New Boston, NH; and 3 County
Fair, Northampton Ma. We are still small organization, but growing, and would 
like to do more of own shows but can not afford the higher prices of the 
"better" show facilities. Any ideas or input would be much appreciated.

    Have you considered the Cheshire Fairground in new Hampshire.  It
    is located just south of Keene on route 12.  A number of equine
    organizatons use it during the year and it is set up just for the
    type of gathering you describe.

    Depending on what you are looking for you might want to look into the
    new place in Stratham, N.H. or is it Centerton.  Anyways it is next to 
    Exeter, N.H.  We were there for the Maine All Arab...it was nice.
    Another place is the Spencer, 4H Grounds, a little rough but very
    workable...again depending on what you are looking for.

    place but it may cost you to show there. 

                I should have mentioned the Deerfield Fair grounds,
    Deerfield N.H. They hold the 4-H County and State Shows there.
    It's a fairly nice place but has no indoor ring. There are plenty
    of stalls though.

    There is a nice 4H ground in Westford. They hold horse shows there.
    Stables and all.
