| First Secretary is the product of Secretariat's test breeding to
an Appaloosa mare and is an Appaloosa. He is also the sire of Jetta
Rue if I'm not mistaken. Apparently the Appaloosa registry will
allow a Thoroughbred parent especially for the horses that race.

| RH Macho is also an Appaloosa. I'm not sure whether QH or TB lines,
he's pretty small. 15 hds tops I think. Nice looking horse.

him, bought him for stevie wonder. i guess mr. wonder was an appy

Yes, the Appaloosa registry allows TB blood. My solid-colored,
31/32 Thoroughbred mare is Appendix registered with the Appaloosa
registry. If she had an Appaloosa coat pattern, she would be fully
registered. Out here in the West they have Appaloosa racing. My
mare would never be eligible, however - she's not a registered TB,
and she doesn't have the spots to allow her to run in the Appaloosa
races - but I obviously wasn't looking for a racehorse!
