368.0. "NY/NJ Area Hunt Seat Instructors" by IND::HABER () Fri Aug 14 1987 15:20

HI, I'M NEW TI DIGITAL AND WAS VERY PLEASED TO SEE THIS NOTES FILE.
    I HAD BEEN RIDING ENGLISH FOR 1 1/2 YEARS BEFORE STOPPING (ABOUT
    6 MONTHS NOW). DOING FLAT WORK AND JUMPING. I AM INTERESTED IN
    TAKING LESSONS AGAIN. CAN ANYONE PLEASE SUGGEST A GOOD PLACE TO
    GO IN THE NYC/NJ AREA?

    I currently live in Staten Island and I will be moving to New Jersey
    around November (West Orange). Long Island would be to far away.
    Thanks for your reply.

    Call Ben Fogarty, he and his family are into show jumping in the
    area and could give you a good lead on instructors in the Northern
    section of New Jersey. He's currently working at onsite at Exxon
    201-730-2297.
    	Alice Holmes is an excellent instructor in Central Jersey, her
    phone number is 609-758-2703. She gives private instructions and
    has helped me tremedously when I owned a crazy TB filly, that was
    just off the track. (Flat work, jumping and hunter paces)

    	Good luck, NJ is a great place for riding,
