I cant believe this!! Wednesday I had a horse vetted out that I wanted to by. He vetted out fine, they did flex tests and everything. He was fine, so I bought him. The next day I went down there and he was lame in both front legs. I asked for my money back and I did get it back. Before I got my money back I had the vet look at this horse again. The vet said that they thought it was Tendonitis. This horse was bought from from an Auction and the man who sold him to me only had him for 2 week and had no problem with him. My question is, have any of you had a horse with tendonitis? and how bad does it get and how often does it occur and what is it caused from?

I've never had a horse with this problem or seen it, but I'd be curious to know how long the horse was in the trailer to get to the auction, what type of stall he was in, what type of work he did since he was there and before the man bought him. How old was the horse, etc... |
