Hi all, after upgrading DECnet 3.2a to 3.2b, i'm missing the ncl help entities for the mta, mts and smtp-gw modules. After deleting and reinstalling the MTAANETMAN200 subset, everthing was back. The entities itself but were working without a problem, i was just unable to find some help-informtation. My question: IS THERE NO OTHER WAY to do that?? Because reistalling the MTAANETMAN200 subset means to disable the mta itself and that is not such a good idea on a productive system. Thanks Martin [Posted by WWW Notes gateway]

Hi, The ncl help file is /usr/share/dna/ncl_help.txt. The MTA folks must have added their own additional help segments to what DECnet ships. We'll have to see about including their stuff when we ship, but if you run into this again, you just need to copy the above file from another system (or extract it out of the MTA subset). Vince |
