I am replacing two old MIPS boxes running Ultrix with a single Alpha box running Digital Unix. These are production mail servers for our site (cop.dec.com). I can assign muliple IP addresses with ifconfig alias so the new system will handle all of the IP mail ([email protected]) that the two previous ULTRIX systems did. What about DECNET ? Both Ultrix systems are running DECNET phase IV and have registered non-hidden phase IV addresses. Is there a way to configure a Phase V system with multiple DECNET names? (The syslog file on the Ultrix systems show dnet_spawner connections for object mail11 and object nntp. thanks, ...larry cole [email protected]
