1436.0. "Modifying DNSROOT logical?" by GADWAL::W_MCGAW () Tue Apr 01 1997 12:23
Hi,
I have a customer that is using DFS with DNS V2.0. He upgraded from
DNS V1.1 when he migrated to DECnet/OSI. This broke the DFS product
for mounting access points. He created the following logical
definition to superceed the original one for DNSROOT (which included
the .DNA_NODE directory specification) and now DFS works correctly.
Are there any drawbacks to modifying this logical?
DEFINE/EXECUTIVE/NOLOG/TABLE=DNS$SYSTEM_TABLE DNSROOT TEST_NS:.
Thank you,
