Hello! A customer has a system vax 4050 running open vms v6.2 decnetosi v6.3 pdcs v2.1-48. The process PSDC$DC_SERVER started by data collector has crashed and has created a file PSDC$DC_V5.DMP. The customer doesn't want upgrade to psdc v2.2 and asks how to disable the creation of this file PSDC$DC_V5.DMP. Thanks for any help Domenico

The customer will have to write their own kernal mode program to turn off the process dump bit after the PSDC process gets collected. The PSDC process is created with a call to SYS$CREPRC and the arguments to this call cannot be changed. Jilly | |||||
