2401.0. "sysconfig -c psdc really required at reboot?" by HGOSPS::MICKWIDLAM () Thu Mar 13 1997 02:52
Hi,
I have a question which seem to be very silly. I installed DECps on
Unix V3.2D. During installation I see a message that I have to add
sysconfig -c psdc to a startup file. This to reload the driver each
time when system reboot. This action will remove /dev/psdc and create a
new one.
I'd like to ask, is reload the driver at boot time a must? If I don't
have this sysconfig action done on bootup, will there be any problem
running psdc?
Thanks and regards,
Mickwid Lam.
