What the heck does Altavista do with Compuserve pages?
It took me ages to get AV to add my hompage, then I've checked it
recently and it had gone from the index!
I've re-added it and it's now there.
why would AV remove it? It also did it to a friends homepage on AV.

I added myself to AV on wednesday of this week, and checked to see if
it had been 'logged' (after reading your base note) and I'm there!

I frequently have problems getting to my homepage from the digital
domain. Sometimes it just times out, but other times I get what
looks like a nice "sorry but..." message from Compuserve saying that
the service is unavailable.
It might be that the homepages were down often enough that Altavista
just gave up on them.
In any case, seems clear that you'll have to re-enter it in Altavista.
