I read at the Dracut library that the Dracut Historical Society
is opening their new Lakeview Park room this Sunday May 4. I know
the historical society is on Lakeview Ave, near the police station.
I think the historical society has very limited hours - just a
few hours on Sunday afternoons.

Elizabeth, I have seen the "Lakeview Park Room" in its earlier stages.
Its walls are painted with scenes from the old park, to try and give
you the impression of being there. It is interesting that the Lowell
area once had its own amusement park. Last I heard they were going
to publish a book also.
