| Another good experience at the East Coast Grill. We went Sunday night
around 7pm and had about a 20 minute wait for 2. I really enjoyed the
sangria and Stephen thought their tap beers were very good. The wine
selections were so-so, but I never can get used to really chilled white
wine.
We had an appetizer special of steamed clams that were excellent! It
was a decent sized bowl - served with melted butter.
For entrees, I had the grilled amber jack - never heard of it before,
but it's supposed to be similar to mackerel. It was grilled with a
spice rub and was very tasty. It was served with black beans & rice,
roasted avocado and fruit salsa, along with a grilled plantain.
Stephen had whole grilled sea bass that tasted okay - too mild for him
and would have been too much work for me! It was served with couscous
- my meal was definitely better.
The bill was around $75 for the appetizer, entrees and 5 drinks - not
unreasonable for Cambridge! We liked the atmosphere too - a lot less
stuffy than some of the better seafood restaurants.

| If you like the menu at the East Coast Grill or if you are just
looking for a good grilling cookbook, check out Chris
Schlesinger's "The Thrill of the Grill." It has loads of
good recipes for the grill from mild to wild.
