| Is it possible to hop on the Avis shuttle bus right at the Airport Blue Line
terminal or must we get on the Massport bus to an airport terminal first?

| I think the rental car shuttles do stop at the airport T stop.
Perhaps you could call Avis to make sure...

| I've used the Avis shuttle several times. Just go out the departure
doors, cross the street to the "island" and several shuttles stop right
there. I think they run every 30 minutes or somesuch. It feels a lot
longer when the cold wind is blowing.

| Art, catching the Avis shuttle at the airport departure gates is the easy part.
We're coming to Boston via Amtrak so will be taking the T from South Station
to the Airport stop on the Blue line. The Avis bus turns around right in
front of the Blue line stop, but will they stop to pick up passengers
(customers) at that point?
I've checked the Avis web site, but they don't go into that type of detail.
Looks like I'll have to resort to actually talking to a person to find
out the answer...:-)

| I'm quite sure the Avis shuttle will stop there. I can't remember for
sure but I seem to remember being on it when they have stopped there.
In the event that they don't, you can take the Logan shuttle to the
first terminal and then wait there fore the Avis shuttle. A fairly easy
fall back.

| Perhaps if you stand in the middle of the road at the MBTA station when the Avis
van comes by, they will stop for you. If not, I think there's a hospital at the
airport, is there not?

| I know there's a chapel, but that would only be needed if you are going
to take a cab...
I think we'll just wing it and try to catch the Avis bus from the T stop. As
stated, if that fails we'll hop the Massport bus to a terminal and catch the Avis
bus from there.

| The rental car busses do stop at the Blue Line T station. Most cruise by
slowly, but some stop for a moment or two, even if there is no one waiting.
We made the connection from South Station to the Avis lot without a hitch.
