Hi Folks,

On June 14, 1997, The Northeast Bicycle Club, and its sponsors, is presenting a
grass-field criterium for kids only.  The race will be held at the Hittenger
Softball Field adjacent to Belmont High School, Concord Ave, Belmont, MA.  Free
water bottles to first 200 registered racers.  This is a USCF-permitted and
insured event.  2nd race is half price, 3rd race is free.  There are BMX
categories, mountain bike/open categories and a pursuit challenge (ala track
racing.)  There will be trophies for the best placers, and ribbons for all.

The first race starts at 10am and the last race starts at 3:10pm.  Parents must
be present to sign insurance waiver.

This is a great opportunity to introduce kids to this sport.  We need to
encourage kids if the sport of bicycle racing is to continue!
