Welllll... training for the 1997 Mt. Washington road race has
officially begun :-))
I received a news letter from the organization that runs the event
on Saturday ... on Sunday I did my first laps up Miller State park.
The access road up Miller is clear.

ps. This years race is the 23'rd of August with a rainday on the 24'th.
The race will start at 7:30am this year ... I think it started at 7am
last year. They will try to have registration available the night
before this time. Unfortunately the registration fee is still $100.

Mt. Wachusetts is clear up the south side for bikes (i.e.
everything is clear except for the roads that have ski trails
across them). This may change in a few hours...
