9 months ended 9/96, net sales fell 2% to $537.7M. Net income totalled 
$7.3M, up from $273K.  Revenues reflect lower sales in the consumer products 
segment due to the sale of a heavier mix of juvenile and promotional products.

I think Huffy is heavily into the juvenile market segment and that market
fluctuates with the number of kids and the economy.  They may not be a good
indicator of the overall bicycle market.

    Brunswick (NYSE:BC), once better known for bowling balls, today
    better known for >$1million yachts, owns bike makers Mongoose and
    Roadmaster.  No mention of percentage of revenues they generate
    for Brunswick; probably in the noise level.
