All of a sudden my front right (if you are on the bike) brake has become loose and is rubbing the tire. I think all that needs done is a little tightening but I've looked for things to tighten and nothing seems to work....... the brakes work when I apply them but the right one just kinda hangs there and rubs when I ride. I wouldn't mind so much but it's slowing me down and making a noise..... :) I have a trek 2200 with all Shimano componentry. Thanks a million!!! Linda

Linda, Look for the Allen head bolt on the right front side of the brake as you look at the bike from the front. I have Shimano RX100 brakes and this bolt tends to loosen up over time. I just tightened it back up a little while ago. It's a little tricky, because if you tighten it up too much, it doesn't allow the caliper to return to the open postion after you pull the lever. Hope that helps, -Buddy

and if that's already tight, check the one behind the fork which holds the brake in place. You get at it by turning your wheel slightly and slipping the wrench into the hole at the top of the fork. -Buddy
