| There's an organization called "Bikes Not Bombs" that takes old bikes and
exports them to third world countries where they are fixed up and sold by the
locals. I don't know of any information on how to contact them.

| Some suggestions might be contacting your local Children's home, Boys'
or Girls' clubs for a deserving recipient.

| Another possibility is to contact a support group and see if they
hold garage sales as a fund raiser.

| Recently, the local Lions organization(Wilmington Ma.) was accepting
donations of used bikes in good to repairable shape. You might give
your local chapter a call.
I'm thinking of doing the same thing and had also considered the
Salvation Army Store in town as well.

| Bikes Not Bombs is going to have a container loading and pizza party on
Sunday, June 18 from 10 am to 6 pm. They are sending about 350 bikes
to two development projects in Nicaragua and can use all the help they
can get.
