some friends of mine in Ayer are just starting out with mountain bikes.
i've told them about the trail from ayer to pepperell, but they cant
seem to find it.
are there any stores in the ayer/littleton area that will have decent
bike trail maps for them.
thanks - ann

EMS has a large selection of U.S. Geological Survey topographical
maps. If the area was surveyed recently, most of the hiking/biking
trails will be shown on the local map.

The easiest way to find it is to start behind the LaSita Restaurant
on Rt 2A just west of the Downtown area.
Park in the downtown area (T parking) then bike west on Rt 2A. Turn
right along with 2A, turn right again at LaSita, turn left behind
LaSita and you're on it!
First crossroad (pavement) is in 100 feet
2nd crossing? is the power lines
3rd crossing (pavement, Left to Rt 111, Right to Groton Harvard Road
drops you off near hospital)
Never got off at the 4th or further....
