According to Paula at Landry's in Westboro, Descente is getting out of the clothing business at the end of this season. Has anyone heard about this? Bob

Unfortunately, it's true. I read the announcement in Cycling USA.
I don't remember specifically what the reason was. I had an urge to go
out and buy all of the decent cycling shorts of my size that I could
find. I know from experience that their shorts are long lasting,
maybe this was their problem, afterall, this has become a throwaway
world.
I am still hopeful that they will make the shorts in Japan and
ship them here in adequate quantities. As Phil Liggett would say,
"what a tragedy".
