My wife want a ladies style bike (hybrid) that is around $350-400 and
what do you suggest? She ia a little thing as well....

P.S. ---- We have looked a TREK's are they good bikes??

By "ladies style" I'll assume you mean a mixte frame (no top tube).
Just a little suggestion... Try and talk her out of that frame. It
doesn't sound like she'll be doing any competitive or rough riding,
but mixte frames, to sum it up, are trash. They're a much weaker frame.
And... they haven't served any real purpose since the turn of the
century when women were riding in long dresses.

MY EXPERIANCE WITH TREK HAS BEEN EXELLENT. THEY REPLOACED MY CRACKED
FRAME VERY PROMPTLY.

Um, wouldn't it be even better if they didn't have to replace the frame
to begin with?
