Anymore news on the problem with AVOCET 50 and batteries...since I have replaced the original batteries (which have lasted over one year) any new pair of batteries (yes the right type ie 186 alkaline etc...) only last a max of 2-4 weeks... I read in previous topics sereval tricks which I have tried but without any success, I was wondering if there was anybody out there with an explanation. fg/

FWIW, Cheapest place to buy replacement batteries for an Avocet 50 in the GMA area: Spag's (the watch counter). 386 type is 95 cents ($1 with tax). kb |
