2724.0. "Bike ride to Disneyworld in Sept.??" by BALMER::MUDGETT (A lean mean fixin' machine) Fri Feb 11 1994 20:14
Greetings all,
The weather today and the recent past is/has been soooo miserable that I
can only survive be thinking of the neat bike rides that I'll be doing
sometime next summer. The Heat Pump hasn't stopped making noise (not
to be confused with making any heat) for a week, there is 1803987547894 inches
of snow and ice. Because of the snow I didn't go to work today and that
further means that I have tons of work to do when I do get to go to work
again.
Anyway it was in this funk that I read a article in BICYCLING mag. about
a bike ride that is a bike ride from Tampa to Disneyworld. 85 miles and
hardly worth the effort of driving 1200 miles but does sound attractive
probably only because it MIGHT be warm there. Also it does sound like a
good excuse to go for a trip.
Have any of you heard anything about this ride? The article made it sound
like a Disney production, not our average century.
