     On Sunday, September 19 a Team Time Trial and Bicycle Tour around the
Quabbin Resevoir will take place.  The touring event is being billed as the 
"The Round Quabbin Tour".  The information that I have indicates that entry 
will cost $25 for pre-registration and $30 on the day of the ride.  The 
registration fee will include dinner after the ride, maps, a souvenir, and 
what is described as goofy prizes(?).  Proceeds from the event will go to The 
Committee to back the Bike Bill, The Friends of the Quabbin, and Valley
( I assume Quabbin valley ) Human Services.

     I don't know what type of during ride services ( rest stops, refreshments,
food, ect ) will be offered but Mr.Fries can probaly answer that question.

     Start times are as follows ( for 100 Km     ~ 62.2 Miles );

             Beginners : start 9 am
             Novice : start 11 am
             Sport : start 12 noon

Of the three categories sport is the class for people who would like to ride
the distance quickly.
