2654.0. "Holden MA biking paths ?" by RANGER::BONNEY () Fri Aug 20 1993 12:10
A friend of mine would like to take up biking but is reluctant because
she doesn't know of any good biking spots in the immediate Holden area.
(Nor do I.) She's likely looking at a hybrid bike (vs a 'street' bike)
and is interested in easier-riding dirt roads, a park, etc.
Could anyone respond, please, with pointers to some good hybrid bike
paths/areas in the Holden area ?
Thanks in advance, Art

| A good area for that kind of riding that immediately comes to mind is
the Barre Falls area... Full of Army Corps of Eng's roads (dirt) that
are in pretty good shape. Miles of 'em...

motorcycles too!! The terrain is pretty easy going no real singletrack
that I ever noticed anyway.
