The regular Sunday morning Gamache ride will be doing a century this
Sunday 6/6...
The plan is to leave the Gardner Courthouse parking lot by 7:00am...
The route will run around the Quabbin Resevoir involving Rte.'s 9,
202, 32(?)... The ride will be of a moderate tempo with some "playing"
along the way (I'm sure). This isn't a beginner's ride or course. The
course itself is pretty hilly.
My guess (knowing the disposition of the bunch) would be that we'd
come in under 6hrs (defintely saddle time/maybe total)... Only a guess.
The general rule about no one being left behind applies here. There is
a stop planned for Belchertown (intersection of Rte.'s 9 & 202). I'm
sure there'll be a couple more.
The route includes some of the Districts (6/13) RR so those of you
planning on the RR can get an intimate relationship with the area.
