Hi, we are planning to make a 4-5 week bicycle tour through western parts of USA (California,...) during July/August. What we are searching for is information material (maps, paperbacks, ...) especially for bicycle tours in that region. Here in bookshops in Munich/Bavaria there is such kind of information only available for european countries, not for USA. Can anyone help us with pointers to such information ? Thanks in advance for help, Reinhard

Reinhard, I suggest you contact BikeCentennial in Missoula, Montana. They have had great routes through the West, and describe where to find stores, campgrounds, etc. You can either go on one of their trips or get maps from them. I'll try to get their phone number and address for you. Patrick | |||||

Patrick, thanks for your reply, the "BikeCentennial in Missoula, Montana" sounds good. Due to an official holliday here and one day "out of my office" I got it just now. If it's not too much work for you, can you evaluate if they have a TELE-FAX number too ? Thanks a lot, Reinhard |
