I got a problem with my bike computer. I own aa AVOCET 30 (one year old), that works very well. Some time ago I replace the fork of my Mongoose with a RockShox MAG20 and with a little adjustment the Avocet still works. Now I rebuilt the front wheel with a RINGLE' SUPERBUBBA Hub, but unfortunately the ring of the Avocet don't fit the hub. Does exist a proper way to resolve the problem ? Does Avocet sell a right ring for the oversized Ringle' hub ? And, if yes, can someone point me the right way to look for (if Avocet has it, part number will be appreciated, so my dealer can order it) Any hints will be appreciated. Thank you, Luc

There should be little slots on the magnetic ring. The slots are for sliding the plastic "tie-straps" through and looping over an adjacent cross in the spokes. r

I had the same problem mounting a Avocet on my tandem, the hub was too large for a standard mount. Avocet makes a ring with tape on the back. You just remove the protective cover and press on. No clips, tie wraps, no mess. I don't know the part number but, it was an Avocet part. Joe

Contacting the Italian Company importing Avocet, they said the oversized ring exists and available in Italy. So I ordered it via my local dealer. Anyway, thank a lot for the hints. Luciano, DEC Office Roma, Italia |
