SECOND ANNUAL CYCLING SKILLS CLINIC
Conducted by USCF Trained Coaches and Riders
Start the season right! Learn to ride fast and safely in groups and alone.
AGENDA:
Saturday April 10, 1993 10:00 AM - Noon
o Stretching, 2-up riding, cornering technique, "sand" technique,
"Thump & Bump", and kissing wheels.
Saturday, April 17, 1993 10:00 AM - Noon
o Cornering drills, group riding skills, pack etiquette, "how to get
to the front of the pack", hill climbing techniques, and sprinting
technique.
To Register: Call Mark Reid at home (508)368-1198 anytime before 9:00PM
What to Bring: Bike, Water Bottle, and appropriate clothes based on weather.
Who Should Attend: YOU should attend. We'll teach you how to corner fast
and safely, how to survive in a pack on training rides and
in races, and how to become a better rider whether you're
a triathlete, bike racer, recreational rider, or just curious.
This is NOT a fitness clinic; it's a skills clinic! You don't
need to be in peak condition to attend.
Directions: We'll meet at D'Angelo Drive in Marlboro, MA. To get to
D'Angelo Dr. (NOT D'Angelo's sub shop!) take Rt 495 to Rt 20
West. Left at second traffic light (at bottom of hill) onto
Ames Street. Straight through traffic light, where Ames
becomes Simarano Drive. Straight through stop sign onto
D'Angelo Drive (dead end street).
