    Does anyone know anything about 'electric bikes' such as the one being
    sold by Sinclair Research in the UK, or any other 'add-on' electric
    type motors which can be added to regular bikes. These (at least in the
    UK) do not change the status of the bicycle; i.e it still dooes not
    require a licence to drive/ride.
    Are they any good/reliable - what are the pro's and cons?
