2224.0. "TECH TIP" by WMOIS::RIVETTS_D (Dave Rivetts, WMO, USCD, 241-4627) Tue Mar 31 1992 11:32
I strongly recommend that anyone with a bike that has the SunTour
Accu-Shift deraileurs that you make sure you have a Suntour AP chain,
or, I believe the DIADO chain will work.
I have worked on some brands of bikes that use the Suntour deraileurs,
but don't use the Suntour chain. I have noticed a significant
improvement even on bikes that seemed to work alright with the
non-Suntour chain.
I checked with other bike shops in the area, and I was told the Sedis
will work. I tried it, and it doesn't work as well as the Suntour AP.
Free Motion will replace the chain, free of charge to those customers
who bought bikes there, that have a non-Suntour chain with the Suntour
deraileurs.

2224.1 | KMC OEM chain | WMOIS::RIVETTS_D | Dave Rivetts, WMO, USCD, 241-4627 | Wed Apr 01 1992 08:17 | 8 |

The chian that I have been replacing has been a KMC CX30 and CX50. The
CX50 works a lot better than the CX30, but not as good as the Suntour
AP, which is made by DIADO.
