The World Cyclo-cross Championships are being held in Northern
Italy next year on (as far as I can work out) the 30th & 31st Jan.
The exact venue has still to be decided this week, but most of the
places applying are around the Lombardy area.
Rod W and myself were talking about trying to get as many DECcies
as possible to the Champs so that we could get a social get together
without the pain of riding a bike. I'm giving a year's notice if anyone
from far afield needs time to get some money together (like us
northeners) to get there.
No firm plans as yet, just the basic idea to see how many people
would be interested. As soon as I get the exact venue, I'll get in
touch with the local Tourist Information for an idea of accomodation
available.
