So who is Jos Alvarez? Chris P.S: I'd prefer the answer in English please - as I'm sure would the rest of the conference readers. | |||||

Chris - you'll be asking me who Vic Gibbons is next......... ;>) The note was about FR3 (French TV) so I figured translating wasn't worth the effort - Jos Alvarez is a big bike equipment distributor in the South-west, it was rumoured that Bernard Hinault was going to either buy him out (and chuck in farming), or go into a partnership. Biondi, the '90 world points champion, who also rode in the ill-fated TonTon outfit, also does a lot of publicity for him. Sort of a Ron Kitching in a beret with a strong smell of garlic...... |
