I got my racing bike stolen lately (luckily I've still got my mountain
bike to get me to work). I made some enquiries about a custom-made
Eddy Merckx frames (I'm working in Brussels) and got quoted the following
prices. I thought they may be of general interest.

That makes them a little cheaper over there then they are over here.
I have not seen a Merckx SLX frame for under a $1000. The Motorola
team issue bike goes for about $1400.
I might try and dig up a few more prices tonight if I remember.
