Conference noted::bicycle

    I would like to make a request of this community.
    
    I have a friend who in conjunction with some folks from Fort 
    Devens colllects bicycles.  These guys look for anybody willing
    to donate a bike, no matter what the condition, then they refurbish
    them (at theri own cost) to be distributed at Christmas to local
    children.  The donations to the children are done anonymously, and
    very few people realize who is behind this.  The guys figure that if
    they can do something to help someone else out, that's all the 
    reward they need.  They start collecting the bikes in August, so I'd
    like to ask that anybody who would be interested in donating a bike
    send me mail at ASABET::RAINEY.  And just so there is no
    misunderstanding, this is not an actual formal charity, just a bunch 
    if guys getting together to do something they are good at for the 
    pleasure of making some child's holiday a little brighter.  Any help 
    would be greatly appreciated.
