I'm trying to evaluate the wheels that came with my bike. That is I like to determine the quality of the wheels, what wheels they are comparable to from other companies and what they are best suited for. The rims are Ambrosio Elite Durex 32 hole rims. The spokes are DT stainless and the Hubs are Ultegra. I currently ride about 100 miles a week and compete in Bi/triathlons and the odd TT. I will eventually pick up another set of wheels more suitable for the type of racing that I am planning to do. So I'm more interested in how my current wheels are suited for training. Any help would be much appreciated. Bob

The wheels sound OK. No big problems. But what really matters is how well they were built and that's hard to tell from here. -Jeff Bell |
