I'm trying to get information on a racing bicyle called a COOGER. Please excuse the spelling, it's obviously spelt wrong, I can not find any reference to that make/model in the conference. In Ireland they cost about 800 pounds ( $1200 ). Rgds, --John

I think the bike you're talking about is a Cougar. It's a top-line racing frame made in the UK, and I've seen adverts for it in the back of Cycling Weekly (which you may be able to get in Ireland). According to the advert, Chris Boardman, England's top amateur time-trialler, rides one. Rod

I have 2 Cougars a 753 and a 531, the club I ride with has many Cougar lovers. The Cougar is built by a guy called Terry Dolan in England. I can probably get his address and phone number from my club president if that is what you are looking for. Wayne V

My wife had a 531C Cougar frame built for her two years back through a bike shop in Dublin ...215 Nice job too. The guy who owns the shop is in the same club as me. If you want to use him drop me a line or ring me at the Dublin office 2258. John |
