Would one of our friends across 'the pond' in the U.K. know if the maker of my Bicycle is still in business? It's an R.E.W. Reynolds made in Northampton. I've had it since '78 and would love to get a new set of decals for it when it needs refinishing. Cheers, Steve

I haven't heard of it, but here's a way to find out. The July 91 issue of Bicycle Action (which contains a truly excellent article about the Tour de France) mentions a bicycle identification service, run by John Pinkerton, 522 Holly Lane, Urdington, Birmingham, B24 9LY. For �8 he should be able to tell you about the current status of your bike's manufacturer. Might be worth a try if you can't find out any other way. Rod |
