I'm in the market for a couple of city bikes. I've looked at the Bridgestone, Univaga and the Miyata. Can you folks give me some suggestions on what are the pros and cons between these bikes? I'm leaning toward the Bridgestones for $319 each with extras thrown in. The Miyata is more money and the Univaga really didn't turn me on. I've driven the Bridgestone and the Miyata, not the Univaga. appreciate any info and suggestions, Bob

I've got a Bridgestone, and have a bunch of friends that have them, too. Nobody has had any complaints about their bikes- they all seem to be good machines, at a decent price. These are all MTB's, and everyone that has them rides VERY hard. I expect that the city bikes will be plenty reliable... Have fun, Ed

Hi Ed, Glad to heard your bike is doing fine. Are you still blowing off disc to go Mt. biking? BTW, I think Ed has a MB-4. The CB-1 and CB-0 for the Bridgestone line has some good write up in Bicycling Mag. I have not had a return on those yet? If you need more info, just give me a buzz and I can send you over a catalog. Good Luck, Dave
