    Hi Gang,
    
    Can you give me advise on buying my first Mountain Bike ?
    
          I saw a Sante Fe "Wolfe" for $429,
              Dero LX, gel saddle, RM17(32 spoke) rims, oversized headset.
          Is this a good bike ?  
          The components/price sound good to me--what do you think ?
    
    I like the Dero LX and HyperGlide, and I want to spend $300-400+.
    
    Are there any "buyers guides" ?
    Is there a guide for frame size--are the smaller ones better ?

	I picked up a copy of Mountain and City Bike's Buying Guide at a local bike shop. It gives specs and prices, but no riding impressions. Tom
