1812.0. "Bike rides 1991 in USA" by BALMER::MUDGETT (He's reading notes again, Mom!) Sat Dec 29 1990 18:42

Greetings fellow cyclists,

My fondest hope is that you are having more exciting things to do
than I am tonight. Thats because I'm Married, with Children. Anyway
the only thing that gets me through this miserable weather with
8 gazillion inches of snow outside and the temp at something like
absolute zero, is the thoughts of all the bike rides I plan on
going on next year.

Now what I am planning on doing is to type into this note all the rides
that are mentioned in the LAW (League of American Wheelman) BICYCLE USA
ALMANAC 1991. The rides in this publication are broken down by state.
These lists aren't all the rides that take place only the ones that
the various clubs sent them. Tragically I'm nowhere's near ambitious enough to
do all of them at one sitting so I'll do a number of state's rides in one reply
and have the title of that reply to discribe the states discussed.

The information for these rides is copied without permission from the
BICYCLE USA 1991 ALMANAC. The ride information is whatever is supplied
in that mag. They include a general time of year (some rides have a
date) and usually the bike club that sponsors the ride. I really get
into this stuff so if you need information on any ride I have all sorts
of addresses in various mags and will be happy to look up ride information
for you as long as you have boundless patience.

Your friend in cycling

Greetings once again,

You have my deepest apologys for my absence and I have excuses
of which you can pick the one you like the most:

    1. I was at a DEC school (VMS Level II) for a month and the
only network link is the definition of slow.

    2. Us in field service are very busy.

    3. My 14 year old daughter vol. to do some of this
    typing.

So I'll try to finish the rest of the listings up before
    the serious biking season starts.
