| Hi Neil,
I live in Reading and am a member of Reading CC. There's probably a
club nearer you; I'll see if I can find out and I'll post an adress
here if I do. It's certainly worth joining a club; it could introduce
you to the joys of time-trialling and similar pursuits.
What London-Paris bike ride is this?

If you buy the magazine BICYCLE they give you all the information you
need nearer the time. Which will be about this time next year. If you
are interested i will Fax you the details next Tuesday.
I thought all the clubs would of known about this?

The organiser of the London to Paris is a guy called Mike Ellis.
Telephone number is 081 897 0572. He will be able to give you all the
details. His carphone number is 0860 342305.
Just for your interest he also used to organise the London to Paris
Triathlon but after losing his house in Waverley Road which he had used
security....
He was also reponsible for the very first outdoor Aerobics display in
the UK (which also happened in Reading at Palmer Park). Before Jane
Fonda jumped on the bandwagon.
I also did not know you were a member of Reading CC. What aspect of
cycling? Time-trials, Audax or what?

| Thanks, but I think it unlikely I'll be on the London to Paris thing.
Re Peter: As of Thursday evening I'm the newsletter editor for Reading
CC, so I should at least know what's happening! If you want to know my
interests in cycling, see Matt Johnson's recent topic in Cycle_Racing
titled "Racers in Other Federations" (love that "other" (and which
registration topic has the most replies?)).
Are you doing the Reading Team Triathlon again?
