Has anyone rented a mountain bike on Nantucket? I'd like to get an idea of how much it cost and what makes they rented. Looking for a Cannondale, Trek, etc for my girlfriend for when we go out there... Lincoln Guide Service has Treks for $25/day but then I also need to pay the bicycle fare on the ferry. thanks in advance /ken

I don't know what they cost to rent, but here are the names of
three bike stores on the Nantucket. I think they all rent mountain
bikes:
Nantucket bike shop (508) 228-1999
Cooks cycle (508) 228-0800
Holiday (508) 228-3644
We stayed at the Westmoor Inn, which includes bicycles in your
room rate. The woman who runs it is married to one of the
co-owners of Cannondale, so all the bikes are Cannondale, and
pretty well maintained.
