Hi, Yesterday I saw the NBC coverage of the Trump race. Pretty cool, I thought. My main complaint was with the interruptions, to update me, on the trials and tribulations of Jim McMahon and some golfer (can't remember his name, even though I thought I would never forget it :-} ). The show showed the routes the race will be following, in the most vague of formats. I would like to go and possibly watch the race next Saturday, May 12, in NY state. The race will start in Catskill, NY and finish in Albany. I want to find a nice spot some where towards the last climb. According to NBC, the route will climb four mountains in the Catskills. I'm not going to go to the race to Boston, because that stage is going to be flat and fast and the finish line will be packed with people (I think I'll get more bang for the buck in NY). Unfortunately, NBC did not say which routes the race will follow. So, does anyone out there know the route of the race from Catskill to Albany. Thanks for any info. Enjoy the race. Grant By the way if you're going to be in NYC on Friday, May 11. The race is going to be doing laps through Central Park. That route is short and pretty flat, so it should be fast and packed with plenty of the 8 milllion natives. This is the same road that lots of NYC cyclist ride every weekend.

In RAINBO::BICYCLE, a DIR/TITLE=TRUMP produces the following notes: 855, 1157, 1161, 1347, 1422, 1494, 1499, 1531 In LEROUF::CYCLE_RACING, a DIR/TITLE=TRUMP produces the following notes: 95, 145, 147, 265 By the way, the May 1990 issue of Bicycling magazine contains a small booklet that lists all the routes, the stage number, etc., and indicates (graphically) the amount of climbing that takes place.
