Does anyone know anything about the Univega bicycle. We are looking for a couple of bikes to ride around our development, possibly even on some trails, but don't want to spend a lot of money. We went to one bike shop that offered two Univega bikes (10 speeds) for about $230 each, which takes into consideration a 10% discount on each bike if we buy two. If no one has any major problems with this brand or can offer a suitable substitute, I think the price is good and it will probably be our choice. Thanks in advance!! JAK

I am the owner of a Univega Mountain Bike and absolutely love it! It has more spring and is easier to ride than any bike I have ever owned. I look forward to riding it every week-end. What can I say as I am not an equipment freak, but love to ride a bike. It looks like you are getting a good deal.

1520.3 | Value of a SporTour w/Shimano 600 bits? | GAVEL::CASEY_M | Thu Mar 17 1994 15:06 | 12
Does anyone know what (or how to find out) the value of a Univega Spor(t)Tour road bike? It is approx 10 years old, in very good to excellent condition, with Shimano 600 components. I would like to trade it in on a new bike or sell it if there seemed to be any interest. Thanks in advance, Mark |
