Has anyone heard of or done the "(19th) Annual Tour of Scenic Rural
Vermont"? This year's date is 6/22-24 beginning in Rawsonville
(30 miles N of Brattleboro?). Anyone know how long a drive that
would be from Nashua?
Its either this or the Great MASS Getaway again!

TORSV East it is called, 107 miles each way on route 100 in Vt.
The first time doing this ride is memorable. The ride is highlighted
by 3 major climbs, Terrible Mtn, Killinton, and Duxbury Hills. The
second day you reach Terrible at the 75 mile point and is most
memorable.
Lodging and food is simple, AYH style. Many of us have done
the same ride, starting and ending nearby but staying in Motels/Inns.
To drive from Nashua will be <2 hours. Go over Rt 119 to Brattleboro,
then 25 or so? miles up route 30. Can make a nice challenging 4 day
weekend by bike. (There is one guy I remember who rode from the cape
and continued the ride up to Stowe without sleep)
Why not do both rides????

Harry, you can call Albert Lester at 617-769-1429. All you have to
do is send a check for $40 (covers overnight, meals) to him at
395 Oak Street, Westwood MA 02090 to register.
